Pr. Moncy M. John was born and raised in a Marthomite family in a small village called Elanthoor of Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. In the year 1986 he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and received water baptism.

While doing his Job in Mumbai, he had the call for full- time ministry from the Lord and dedicated his life to the Lord’s ministry. He joined St. Thomas college Kozhencherry (M.G.University) for his graduation in B.A. Economics.

While doing his job in Mumbai, he got admission for B.D in Faith Theological Seminary (Serampore University), which he joined thereafter. In the year 1998, he got married to Sheeba. After graduating from the Seminary, went to Bharuch, Gujarat as a pastor. Along with pastoral ministry he also started an outstation work in Jenhor among tribal people.

After the ministry in Gujarat, in 2001 he was appointed as the pastor of S.F.C Vyttila, Kochi in India. Also he was appointed as the first administrator of Faith Bible Training Center Kochi. In 2005 he was appointed as the pastor for I.P.C Bethel Thiruvanvandoor. In 2008 he ministered I.P.C Town church Kidangannor. In 2010 he was appointed as the Pastor of I.P.C Bethel church Valanjavattom. In 2014 he ministered I.P.C philadelphia Melpadom. In 2016 he was appointed as the senior pastor of I.P.C Sharjah. In 2019 he was appointed as the senior pastor of Kerala Christian Assembly, Toronto, Canada. In 2023 he was appointed as the Senior Pastor of Tabor Gospel Assembly, Kitchener, Canada and is continuing as the pastor of the same church. He is blessed with a daughter Angela Moncy.

Pr. Moncy finished his M.Th (counseling) at FFRRC, Kottayam (Serampore university) and Diploma in Clinical Pastoral Counseling at TMMA counseling Center Kottayam (Serampore University).
